The First 40 is a Bruce Farr design that blends sporting performance with cruising comfort, modern lines, and bright interiors.

The cockpit features an open transom, two large (removable) storage lockers, and a large wheel for excellent rudder feel, guaranteeing an extremely brilliant sailing performance.

The interiors are bright with light-colored wood. The dinette table has double adjustments, and the dinette seating is $1.95 \text{ m}$ long, offering two emergency berths. The two symmetrical aft cabins measure 2,00 m x 1,50 m ; the forward cabin has a comfortable French double berth measuring 1,90 m x 1,40 m

This particular hull has had several recent updates:

• Antifouling, zinc anodes, replacement of seacocks (including thru-hulls), and complete survey: November 2025.

• Webasto heating system service/overhaul: November 2024.

• Engine complete overhaul and new heat exchanger replacement: June 2024.
